A major change in the leadership at the RDCK.
CAO Brian Carruthers has resigned and will take the same position on Vancouver Island for the Cowichan Valley District.
In recent years Carruthers oversaw a number of changes at the RDCK which were aimed at improving governance and service delivery.
Chair John Kettle says the move allows him to join his partner in Duncan and be close to family.
