Castlegar to make a big splash on BC Day!

Get set for a big splash in Castlegar on BC Day.
That’s when the plus-million-dollar Millennium Ponds attraction opens to the public.
Councillor Kevin Chernoff says it will bring to fruition a community desire highlighted a number of years ago.
Known as “Castlegar Splash” the three huge ponds will be the centre-piece of Millennium Park.
Entrance is free.
Fed by the river water they’re at various depths to suite younger kids, teens and adults.
A community celebration is planned from 11am August 4th.
