The Amazing Race Canada kicks off its latest season at 8 tonight on CTV with two local teams in the mix.
Ryan Lachapelle is the events co-ordinator at Red Mountain and Kenneth McAlpine is a chef in Rossland.
Lachapelle says they had a great time filming the show.
McAlpine says they work well together.
Lachapelle went to Selkirk College in Nelson and did the ski resort management program there.
There’s also a mother-and-son team from Grand Forks.
We know the series will take them through Nelson and Castlegar, but it’s not clear when that episode will air.
Rafters lounge at Red Mountain will have a viewing party every Tuesday night for the summer.
