This spell of dry weather is taking its toll on some smaller water systems in the RDCK.
They’ve given notice to residents at Woodland Heights near Taghum and Grandview Heights near Balfour to cut back.
Gardens and shrubs can only be watered once a week and for two hours maximum.
And the watering of all outdoor surfaces like driveways and sidewalks and the washing of cars and filling of pools and tubs is not allowed.
