Trail city hall payroll holds steady in 2016

The payroll at Trail city hall didn’t change much in 2016.

Overall the city paid just over $6 million in salaries and expenses, up very slightly from 2015.

Twenty-six people earned at least $75,000 and eight of them made more than $100,000.

Chief administrator David Perehudoff, who doubles as chief financial officer, made $220,000.

Mayor and council paid themselves a combined $123,000 plus $23,000 in expenses.

That’s up about $10,000 from the previous year.
