Salmo Days are here again

A fresh crop of volunteers and a big push from community and the village will see big celebrations in Salmo this weekend.

Salmo Days 2017 starts this evening with the slo-pitch tournament at Lions Park and KP park, as well as the Bavarian beer gardens at the legion hall.

Village administrator Diane Kalen-Sukra says the annual events are being boosted because of the nation’s big birthday.

Among the activities tomorrow is a 5 km run and grand opening of the 6th street pedestrian bridge, plus an outdoor market.
