The president of United Steel Workers Local 480 says their bargaining committee is very happy with last week’s strike vote.
Armindo deMederios says the union wants a better offer than what Teck Trail Operations currently has on the table.
Results showed 99.5% of locals 480 and 9705 support strike action.
There were 1,047 votes in total.
