Rossland adopts a “food charter”

The City of Rossland has adopted a “food charter” aimed at promoting regionally grown and marketed food.

Caley Mulholland, a volunteer with the Rossland Sustainability Commission’s food security task force, is delighted.

Mulholland says the “food charter” is an aspirational document that focuses on local, healthy, affordable food production.

It’s the culmination of a widespread community input.
