High Columbia River flows at Birchbank won’t reach those seen in 2012.
BC Hydro spokeswoman Mary Anne Coules says the current flow is 149,000 cubic feet per second.
In July 2012 flows reached the 215,000 mark which triggered flooding.
Forecasts call for this year’s flows to peak well short of that.
