Construction of the new Fortis BC facility in Ootischenia is nearly finished.
Spokeswoman Nicole Bogdanovic says the Kootenay Operations Centre will open this fall.
Kootenay West MLA Katrine Conroy recently toured the site.
Construction of the 30,000 square foot facility began last summer.
Over 100 employees will work there.
