As expected, the City of Trail will apply for federal funds to build a second access road to Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
City councillor Robert Cacchioni says they’ll look to cash in on the gas tax strategic priorities fund.
Cacchioni says the new road is shovel ready.
The application process was approved at a special meeting Wednesday.
