Any forms of racism and discrimination are not welcome in Castlegar.
Councillor Deb McIntosh put forth a notice of motion to declare the city’s stance on upholding BC’s Human Rights Code and the Canadian Rights Act.
She says the city will stand behind and support victims of discrimination in any form.
