The Red Mountain Racers will be ready to make snow for the upcoming ski season…if the city lets them.
Society President Christine Andison says they’ve been working hard with Red Mountain resort to fund raise for phase one of the $2.2 million project.
Andison says they have two major events in the new year that will bring up to 600 people into the community each time.
She adds having the ability to make snow is crucial for those being a success.
City Council is looking at amending their official community plan to allow water to be taken from their Star Gulch reservoir to make the snow.
