Work starts on Grand Forks City Hall

Work has started on the re-build of Grand Forks City Hall after the arson attack that destroyed much of the main floor in September last year.

Mayor Brian Taylor says the job will take about 5 months and it will be good to get the city back in its rightful home.

Much of the city’s administrative operations were forced to move to temporary Roxul and School District offices.

The hope is to have the restored heritage building ready for the new city council come November.
