Upgrades will begin soon for Spokane Street and LeRoi Avenue in Rossland.
Mayor Kathy Moore says work could begin as early as Monday.
Residents should prepare for traffic delays, noise and interruptions in water service from time to time.
Upgrades include sewer fixes and cycling lanes and landscaping will be added.
