The company that owns Castlegar’s pulp mill is reporting strong first quarter results.
Mercer International says it posted operating earnings of $60 million from January to March.
That’s up from 45 million for the same time last year.
The company noted that per unit fibre costs at Zellstoff Celgar were slightly higher.
