Captain Kerner bids farewell to Saints

The BCIHL’s Selkirk Saints have handed out their awards for the 2016-17 season.

Outgoing captain Tyler Kerner was one of 17 players to receive an academic award.

He says he’ll miss being with the team.

Seth Shcmidt was named the team’s defenceman and rookie of the year.

Matt Martin claimed the MVP award.
