The BC Government has announced a funding injection for Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail.
Today the province announced $18 million worth of upgrades are happening.
The province’s share will be $9.3 million.
The rest is coming from Interior Health, the West Kootenay-Boundary Regional Hospital District and the Hospital Foundation.
The funds will help with an expansion to the emergency department and 11 other projects at the hospital.
