RDCK director to challenge proposed raises for board

Should the Regional District of Central Kootenay sacrifice raises for its directors to increase funds for wildfire mitigation?

Director Andy Davidoff feels funds should be focused on protecting our area from wildfires.

He’s bringing a motion to shelve a proposed 20 per cent raise for directors which the board will hear this month.

Davidoff has declined further comment until directors debate his motion.
