The Columbia Basin Trust will continue its partnership with the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy.
The Trust has agreed to put up another $1 million over two years to support literacy programs.
Alliance executive director Ali Wassing says it’s greatly appreciated.
Wassing says the Trust’s contribution accounts for about a quarter of their total funding.
The non-profit delivers literacy programming in 77 communities across the Columbia Basin.
