Castlegar begins new grants in aid policy

The City of Castlegar had its first intake under their new grants in aid policy.

The Hepatitis C BC Education and Prevention Society gets $400, Stanley Humphries Secondary School dry grand gets $250 and the turning pointe performance society gets $250 as well.

The Doukhobor Historical Society and Castlegar Rebels were denied funds as their requests were for ongoing costs.

That goes against the city’s new grants policy.
