Big news for the City of Trail and skateboard enthusiasts in the area.
The city is getting $150,000 in Columbia Basin Trust rec infrastructure funding for a new skate park.
Councillor Carol Dobie is part of a committee which has been trying to secure such a facility for many years.
Construction will begin in 2018.
