Phone scammers are targeting local homes.
Residents have come forward with complaints that people claiming to be Canada Revenue Agency employees have been making threatening phone calls.
They’ll ask for an immediate payment and threaten legal action against those who refuse to comply.
You’re advised to simply hang up the phone if you receive one of these calls.
