Castlegar is bringing back its backyard composter rebate program.
City councillor Florio Vassilakakis says the program has been effective in getting residents to recycle more.
To qualify for the rebate the backyard composter must be purchased locally.
The rebate is a $25 reduction on your utility tax invoice.
