Castlegar will wave in Canada’s 150’th birthday with a new Canadian flag on a 60 foot pole in Millennium Park.
City councillor Dan Rye says a local group pitched the idea and will pay $12,000 to make it happen.
The pole will be beside the green gym near the ponds.
