The City of Trail is supporting an initiative to improve security at Fort Shepherd.
Councillor Robert Cacchioni says the city is serving as the flow through organization to facilitate the transfer of funds from the LeRoi Community Foundation to the Trail Wildlife Association.
The area has been closed due to off road vehicles damaging the ecosystem.
