Crews are working on the final touches to Castlegar’s $1.2 million Millenniun Ponds project.
Councillor Kevin Chernoff says as they prepare for a soft opening in mid July the ponds are essentially built and landscape work is being completed in the next couple of weeks.
Chernoff adds the slides arrived on Monday and could be put in by tomorrow.
Chernoff says the pools, liner and sand are all installed.
He explains sand and sod will surround the facility.
