Local SAR crews pluck pair from Bombi

A pair of stranded snowmobilers are doing well after being plucked from the Bombi by local search and rescue crews.

South Columbia SAR president Mike Hudson says crews were notified around 8 pm Saturday.

So they had the stranded pair build a fire which kept them warm until they were rescued Sunday morning.

The search involved high terrain helicopters and 27 searchers.
