New liquor laws are a step in the right direction but the new Happy Hour rules may not be such a big deal.

Operators can now offer cheaper drink prices during quieter hours. But he says up till now they’ve been able to offer discounts anyway … but only for the entire day.
Martin says he’ll stick to all day beer jug discounts Fridays as before.
