Paramedicine program expanding in West Kootenay

A program that provides in-home health care in rural communities is expanding in the West Kootenay.

Ambulance Paramedics of BC president Bronwyn Barter explains the community paramedicine initiative.

The program is coming to Salmo, Fruitvale, Rossland and Winlaw.

Paramedics in the program will work full-time and provide a variety of services.
