Big savings for Rossland on Washington Street upgrades

The City of Rossland is overjoyed that a project to upgrade Washington Street was completed significantly under budget.

Mayor Kathy Moore says the city saved $700,000.

She credits the savings to lessons learned from past road upgrades.

The city plans to upgrade Spokane Street this year.
