Funding plan for Greater Trail economic development

The Lower Columbia Initiative Corporation society will have a $250,000 annual budget with 80% coming from east end taxpayers and 20% from the Columbia Basin Trust.

The group has not been getting any monies in this year.

The group asked for Trail’s support this week.

The Silver City was the only regional player who did not want their contract to end last year but others cited value for money concerns.
