A few local fire departments worked together to extinguish a trailer fire in South Slocan yesterday evening.
Crescent Valley fire chief Ryan Durand says they responded to a call for service at Osachoff Road around 6:30.
The Tarrys and Beasley fire departments helped put out the blaze.
Durand says the home owner and his wife both suffered minor burns to their hands and smoke inhalation.
