33rd GFI Baseball Tournament begins Wednesday

It’s time to play ball as the Grand Forks International Baseball Tournament kicks off Wednesday.

Coordinator Joan Thomas says its a really exciting lineup that should make for some high-calibre play.

Thomas says up to 36 players who appeared at the GFI in past years went on to play in the MLB.

There are three games today with the first starting at 1:30PM.

There is also an A-L-S fundraiser between Grand Forks and Castlegar teams at 7PM.
