Rossland Search and Rescue saved a man who got lost on Mt. Roberts Wednesday.
SAR director Graham Jones says the man had a cell phone handy which made the rescue much easier.
The man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Rossland SAR will be giving people a crash course tomorrow about avalanche safety.
It starts at 10 in front of the new hotel site.
