Economic growth a main focus for Castlegar in 2017

The City of Castlegar will continue efforts to foster economic growth in the community in 2017.

Mayor Lawrence Chernoff says the city hopes to build on some recent successes.

Chernoff says the city will implement a water metering program and billing structure in the new year.

He adds the new Fortis BC operations centre will open this year.
