Cunningham on the mend

A Trail-born professional hockey player who has been hospitalized for a month might be getting discharged before Christmas.

Craig Cunningham collapsed on the ice while preparing for a game with his Tucson Roadrunners Nov. 19.

He’s set to speak at a news conference at 9 this morning.

Cunningham spent part of his junior hockey career with the KIJHL’s Beaver Valley Nitehawks.
