The Columbia Basin Trust board has approved $600,000 over three years for a new heritage program.
It’ll support the many museums and historical societies in our area.
The Trust’s Wayne Lundeberg says it’s in response to a study they commissioned on organizational capacity.
It may include hiring a heritage professional in the region.
