Castlegar RCMP are investigating an assault and robbery which took place yesterday afternoon.
A man and a woman entered the Flamingo Motel around 3 and accosted, restrained and assaulted the owner with a weapon.
They fled with a few valuables in a dark colored, muddy pick up truck with no canopy
The man is described as five-foot-eight with brown hair.
The woman is five-foot-six.
The motel owner was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
