Smoke Eaters raise funds to fight cancer

The BCHL’s Trail Smoke Eaters had a successful outing with their newest teammates.

The players and a few coaches grew their best mustaches for the West Kootenay Boundary Canadian Cancer Society’s grow-vember campaign.

Coordinator Valerie Rossi says they ended up raising $700 at the event.

Rossi was presented with a cheque from the team at Friday’s game in Trail versus Cowichan Valley.
