A funding boost for a project involving the Slocan Valley Rail Trail.
The RDCK is funding the greenway project $115,000 to pave a 4 km section between Crescent Valley and South Slocan.
Rail Trail Society chair Helene Dostaler says this will make the trail more accommodating for those using it for sports.
The South Slocan Greenway Project is expected to finish in November next year.
