The City of Castlegar will apply for Bike BC funds to continue their cycling master plan.
Councilor Deb McIntosh says they are seeking $59,000 in funds for the Kinnaird Bridge to College Trails addition.
If successful the grant would cover one third of the $168,000 project.
She adds Castlegar is becoming quite the hub for cyclists.
