In the BCHL last night the Trail Smoke Eaters recorded what was arguably their biggest win of the season.
They skated to a 5-3 victory over the top ranked Penticton Vees.
Smokies forward Spencer McLean had the game winning goal.
The Smokies won despite being outshot 29-19.
Trail forward Kale Howarth was the game’s 1st star.
He had a natural hat trick in the 2nd period.
