The Castlegar Rotary Club is hosting a fundraiser Friday.
Organizer Julie Leffelaar says it is meant to bring clean drinking water to a few Amazon communities in Peru.
The event will see people placed in lift trucks taking donations.
The more money raised, the higher the lift goes.
It goes in front of Mithcell’s supply at 4:45 pm.
