The executive director of Trail’s Chamber of Commerce says lots of people visiting from the east and south.
Audry Durham says it’s helped boost numbers at the Visitor Information Centre compared to last year.
She says Alberta’s economy and the strong American dollar are factors.
Durham also credits the hike in foot traffic at the centre to better signage and their “on the go tent” initiative.
