The Kootenay-Columbia school district is gathering feedback with regards to a newly created sexual and gender identity policy.
SD20 chair Teri Ferworn says it falls in line with a mandate handed down from the provincial government.
The policy preaches zero tolerance in cases dealing with homophobia or transphobia related bullying.
