If the City of Castlegar adopts a new policy for issuing grants it won’t be done unanimously.
Councillor Bruno Tassone is opposed to the potential changes which would see more of a focus on events and projects in town.
He wants the policy to remain status quo.
Tassone says it’s important to support teams or out-of-town events that have people representing Castlegar.
