The second cat rescue in the Castlegar area in less than a month.
Robson resident Stacey Johnson says a little over a week ago she heard a kitten crying near her house.
She tried to locate it without success.
It took two days but she finally liberated the feline.
The SPCA couldn’t track down the owners so the cat is in foster care.
