Blood lead levels among lowest ever for Trail children

The latest children’s blood level tests are in from the Trail Area Health & Environment Committee.

They’re among the lowest they’ve ever been.

Teck’s Catherine Adair says the smelter has a program to cut their two kinds of emissions.

Children aged one and a half to six years in Trail and Rivervale had an average reading of 4.3 micrograms per decilitre.
