Castlegar considering changes to grants policy

Castlegar city council is looking at potential changes to their grants policy.

Councilor Dan Rye says the changes would see priority for funds go to teams and events that bring money into the community.

Over the last three years the city has given over $8,500 to teams or individuals for out of town events.

Council will review the plans and discuss it further before making any decisions.
